We are very excited to announce that five Parkview High School Band students have been selected to participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) All-State Band.
The All-State Band includes many of Georgia’s best student instrumentalists, and requires multiple rounds of auditions to be selected. From the first round, or district audition, very few are selected to advance to the state level. Only a fraction of the over 1,800 students competing at the state level are selected for All-State Band.

- Caron Braggs – 9-10 Concert Band 1
- Dat Dang – 11-12 Symphonic Band 1
- Alysia Guo – 11-12 Symphonic Band 2
- Grace Liu – 11-12 Symphonic Band 2
- Emily Tran – 9-10 Concert Band 2
The 2023 Georgia All-State Band event will be hosted at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia on March 2-4.
